Feeding your husky.....

Your husky will not overeat when you are feeding him/her healthy.  They will actually require very little food.  On the other hand, if you don't feed you husky right (feed them junk), they will eat a lot of it.  Kind of like giving yourself sugary foods it will actually cause us to eat more and be more hungry.

I also like to incorporate raw food as well as whole foods in their diet along with their dog food.  Not as the main source of their diet, but maybe 10-30% of their diet.  Any whole food that is high in protein seems works well with huskies.  Good examples would be salmon, eggs, turkey, deer, beef & beef organs.

And it's always a good idea to give your dog a bone.  Just make sure it's raw bones, preferably beef bones.  This really does help improve their teeth as well as their coat.  And it keeps them mentally stimulated for quite some time.
