It was Max's Birthday yesterday. He's brought so much joy to my life. He goes everywhere with me. Max has taught me so much. He's taught me more than I could have ever imagined. He's taught me more about myself than anyone else ever has.
He tells me when it's night, night, time, by standing by my bedroom door at the same time every night. He tells me when it's time to get exercise by standing by the front door and looking at his remote collar. My husband has even trained him to jump up and wait to get the collar put on. He understand that having his collar on either means a long bike ride, or a ride where he can get out and see people.
He's taught me that more isn't always better. There is a huge appreciation to be found in one on one time. He's helped teach me that everyone and every dog, needs their individual time with you. He's help me understand that there is a time to relax and sleep and there's a time to be excited and play. More than anything, Max has taught me how to love and be loved unconditionally.
